Over the past few months, there were several enquiries seeking alternatives treatment for cancer. Some are waiting to see whether my Mom's cancer will improve with this NGDPT treatment before they consider. While others are discouraged by their hospitals from taking the risk.
Mom's latest Petscan on 15 Mar 2013: It showed the disappearance of the small lesion below the larger one. And the larger lesion (right Breast) had reduced avidness was its size reduced! Wow! This is really significant progress and improvement from the Ngpdt treatment!
The ancillary node lesion under the armpit (at the lymph node) is now less avid. The SuvMax of this node had reduced to 1.9 vs previously 4.8. And the size is now 0.9cm vs. preciously 1.1cm. SUV below 2 is like a normal non-tumor cell. What this means? After the last NGPDT Interstitial treatment on this node, the avidness is reduced to normal state.
Overall this is fantastic improvement!
